Mastering Your Mind

Greetings All..

I was reading a great book about Multiple Streams of Inspiration by Johnny Wimbrey recently bought a few months ago when Johnny was here in Singapore.

Multiple Streams of Inspiration

As a great admirer of personal development, I like to read this kind of books to develop myself further.

The first chapter written by Johnny himself about Mastering Your Mind. 3 meaningful questions were presented in this chapter followed by 1 main question that really had me thinking very hard.

The 3 Questions:-
1) When you get knocked down, how long will you stay there before you decide to get back up?
2) When you receive bad news, how long will you ponder it before you move on?
3) When you’ve ben broken into pieces, how long will it take before you decide to put yourself back together again?

The main Question:-
1)
How long will you decide to be mastered before you begin to master?

I was surprised not to be able to think about this great questions before.. Why am I or even you be surprise? Here is why..

Johnny found out that only 10% of individual’s battles are caused by the situation & 90% are caused by their inabililty to move on & simply let go.

Taking control & moving on is not an easy task BUT once we are able to control our emotions & action, life will be for the better for myself & everyone else..

Being negative naturally is normal to some people. How do you control this negativity in you life? In this chapter, Johnny suggested to think of positive things to overcome the negativity. It does not have to be BIG positive things. Even a small positive thing helps to overcome the negativity.

I have never try that before.. & I should from now on.. For every negative thought that come up, I will think about the positive side of it. Oh man.. This is great.. & I think you should too.. This is a better way for me to start mastering the situation & not to be mastered by it!

There is more knowledge to learn from this book.. Will continue to read on further& will discuss in my later post. So.. Stay tune to it.. 🙂
